The campus community is invited to an educational technology (EdTech) all-access reception 2-4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. Wine, beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. This event will highlight the recent merger of the Video Communications Center into EdTech. Dr. Anthony R. Petroy, vice provost for global learning, oversees the department.
“Merging the two areas allows global learning the ability to combine resources into one department to help strengthen the educational services offered to the faculty, staff and students of S&T,” Petroy says. “EdTech will serve as your one-stop shop for all classroom technology and instruction needs.”
Among the many services provided by EdTech are instructional design, Canvas administration and support, distance delivery of courses, professional videography, media services and computer learning centers (CLC) management.
To learn more about EdTech’s extensive services, make sure to attend the EdTech all-access reception on Monday, Oct. 2. Meet the team, ask questions and wrap up your Monday with friendly faces and refreshments.
