Computer science seminar set for Sept. 18

Dr. Kenneth Calvert will present a lecture titled, “An Overview of CISE Research Programs and Directions,” 10-10:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in Room 209 Computer Science Building. Calvert is the Division Director for Computer and Network Systems in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Directorate at the National Science Foundation.
Since May 2016, Calvert has served the NSF on temporary assignment. Calvert comes to the NSF from the University of Kentucky, where he is the Gartner Group Professor in Network Engineering and former department chair of computer science. Get more details.
