Building better bridges — RE-CAST newsletter highlights field implementation

The Summer 2017 newsletter for the Research on Concrete Applications for Sustainable Transportation (RE-CAST) University Transportation Center is now available online. The issue features several field implementation projects, including replacing a bridge deck near Taos, Missouri, using research findings on steel fiber concrete.
RE-CAST is a Tier 1 university transportation center (UTC) led by Missouri S&T in partnership with Rutgers University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Miami and Southern University-Baton Rouge.
