Thanks for a successful Opening Week

New Student Programs thanks the campus community for your support of Opening Week 2017. One of the main messages for freshmen to take away from Opening Week is that they are not alone and there is help and support surrounding them at S&T. In a survey of the incoming class conducted following the week, 97 percent of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that the activities helped them learn about S&T’s student services.
“This is just a small reflection of how great of an impact Opening Week has on our students,” said Kayla Klossner-Thompson, interim director of student success programs. “We extend a huge thank you to all involved. We could not have done it without you.”
