Learn about how academic service learning can affect your teaching and scholarship and benefit you and your students at Missouri S&T’s Service Learning Symposium 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. The term “academic service learning” describes a type of experiential learning where students in a course engage in service to the community, and the service activity enhances and relates to the course content.
