Join the campus community in welcoming new and returning students to S&T during the 8th annual MinerRama. Hosted by the student life department, the free event kicks off at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at the Puck and runs until 2 p.m. MinerRama brings together nearly 200 student organizations and campus programs to showcase ways students can become involved. Interim Chancellor Chris Maples and members of the leadership team will serve free ice cream treats from a tent near the Puck from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The student life staff expects a large group at the event — expect noise around the Puck.
Research suggests that students who are engaged in campus life feel more connected to the university, are more likely to be academically successful and often persist at a higher rate. Student life hopes the noise level will not be too disruptive for offices and classrooms during this event and thanks you for supporting their efforts to ensure student success.
