Brand symposium registration now open

 Registration is now open for the second annual S&T Brand Symposium, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Havener Center. This free event is an annual meeting of S&T leaders and communicators. Participants will hear from experts and get connected to the university’s vision for marketing and branding. Morning sessions and lunch are open to all who register at brand.mst.edu/brandsymposium. This year’s event will also feature a few hands-on workshops during the afternoon. Attendees may only register for one session. Class sizes are limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The sessions are:

  • “Journey mapping — A collaborative tool for design thinking,” one session at 1:15-2:45 p.m., presented by Daniel Reed, business lead for customer experience and design at MasterCard.
  • “Improving your communication through improv,” two sessions, offered at 1:15-2 p.m. or 2:15-3 p.m., presented by Nathan Stewart, director of inbound marketing and content strategy at Intouch Solutions, a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
