Verkamp named assistant vice chancellor of advancement

Tory Verkamp
Tory Verkamp has been named assistant vice chancellor of University Advancement, effective Tuesday, Aug. 1. She succeeds Dr. Lea-Ann Morton, who will become director of corporate and foundation relations at the University of Arkansas.
Verkamp joined Missouri S&T in 2014 as a senior development officer and was promoted to executive director of development in 2015. Before joining the university, Verkamp served as manager of development at Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation in Indianapolis.
Verkamp earned a bachelor of journalism degree and a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a certified fund-raising executive.
