Several organizational changes will take place as a result of the campus budget plan, which begins Saturday, July 1, the start of fiscal year 2018. Several of these transitions will begin July 1, while others are scheduled to begin at later dates, as noted below. View S&T’s organizational chart.

These changes include a change in direct reports to the chancellor (including a reduction in the number of vice chancellors) and a reduction in the number of direct reports to the provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs (from 11 positions to nine).

These changes have been vetted widely with many constituents. They include some of the feedback received during the many open sessions on campus and have been approved by University of Missouri System President Mun Choi. Unless otherwise stipulated, the fundamental mission and goals of the affected units will remain the same after scheduled transitions.

In addition, the Division of Finance and Administration will be renamed Finance and Operations, effective July 1.

Other changes include:

Areas currently in Global and Strategic Partnerships

The new structure eliminates the Division of Global and Strategic Partnerships. The position of vice chancellor for global and strategic partnerships will be eliminated before the end of 2017. Transitions will begin soon for the staff within the division.
