Uetrecht named chief information officer

Dan Uetrecht has been named Missouri S&T’s chief information officer. His three-year appointment began Thursday, June 1. A national search for a permanent chief information officer will be conducted.
Uetrecht has worked in the IT department for more than 30 years, including serving as interim chief information officer since June 2015. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from Missouri S&T.
