Missouri S&T will be well-represented at Maker Faire Kansas City this weekend, with students, faculty, staff and Joe Miner taking part in the event. Dubbed “the greatest show and tell on earth,” Maker Faire Kansas City is a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness where engineers and artists, scientists and crafters get together to share their hobbies, experiments and projects.

Missouri S&T is a sponsor of the event. Students involved in the S&T Makerspace project in the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building and members of the world champion Mars Rover Design Team will be on hand at the S&T booth, along with other students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and volunteers. The event is Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. The Miner Alumni Association is also hosting a luncheon for Kansas City-area alumni and their families on Saturday.
