Counseling, disability support, and student wellness (CDSW) will present a University of Missouri System-licensed program, RESPOND, to train students, faculty and staff on how to recognize and provide initial assistance to people with mental health concerns. Please save the date for the all-day workshop, which will be held 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22, in St. Pat’s A of the Havener Center.

The RESPOND program was developed by Dr. Christy Hutton, assistant director for outreach and prevention in counseling services at the University of Missouri-Columbia, with the support of the UM System Board of Curators. View a brochure for more details on content that will be covered.

CDSW will provide a light breakfast along with a healthy lunch to all workshop attendees. There is space for 45 participants. To register, please contact Sandy Ray, office support assistant, at slray@mst.edu or call CDSW at 341-4211.
