Prakash lecture to focus on geotech impact of high energy construction

Missouri S&T faculty, staff and students are invited to the inaugural lecture in the Shamsher and Sally Prakash Distinguished Lecture Series in Geotechnical Engineering. Dr. Richard D. Woods, professor emeritus at the University of Michigan and National Academy of Engineering member, will present “Geotechnical Impact of High Energy Construction Operations on Nearby Infrastructure” at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, May 18, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public, but will also serve as the keynote address for the 2017 GeoMO Conference.
