Myers earns outstanding educator award

Dr. John Myers has been selected as a top educator by the Architectural Engineering Institute. Myers is associate dean of academic affairs for the College of Engineering and Computing, and a professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering.
Myers helped develop the architectural engineering curriculum at Missouri S&T soon after his 1999 arrival. He was recognized as the Architectural Engineering Institute’s 2016 Outstanding Educator at the organization’s annual conference in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The award honors career excellence in teaching, research and service.
