Understanding the Leader in You: An interactive workshop on Implicit Bias, Stereotype Threat, and Imposter Syndrome

Dr. Rahhal has a background in both Biomedical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focused on nanotechnology and translational medicine; she developed micro- and nano-particle therapeutics for pulmonary delivery using the PRINT® fabrication technique. Outside of her research efforts, she demonstrated commitment to service and leadership in the academic community, constantly promoting awareness of issues regarding equality in science. Amongst several programs, Dr. Rahhal most recently developed a Cross-Cultural Leadership Development Workshop to advance leadership skills as they relate to the diversity and understanding of cultural differences in a global workforce. Dr. Rahhal is bringing this highly rated and interactive workshop to the Missouri S&T campus next Friday, April 14th in the Missouri Ozark Room.
