Smart living faculty candidate to present seminar May 2

Dr. Yongchao Yang, a faculty candidate at Missouri S&T, will present “Full-field Imaging and Modeling of Structural Dynamics” 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Yang is a postdoctoral fellow at the Engineering Institute at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Yang earned a Ph.D. from Rice University and a bachelor’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, both in structural engineering. His expertise is in structural dynamics, experimental mechanics, system modeling and identification, and structural health monitoring for mechanical, civil and aerospace engineering.
