Prepare for next semester with practical tools for instructors

Are you thinking about your courses for next semester? Interested in techniques that increase student engagement but also save time? Dr. Nick Libre will present a workshop titled “Preparing for Next Semester: Practical Tools to Accelerate Student Learning and Save Grading Time,” noon-1 p.m. Monday, April 24, in Room 124 of Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.

Libre, an assistant teaching professor of civil engineering, will share tools that help him increase student engagement in his large classes, decrease grading time and provide analytics to help track student learning more accurately.

Refreshments will be served. RSVP to Diane Hagni, program support specialist, at hagnid@mst.edu by Friday, April 21. The event is sponsored by the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI).
