Open forum planned for first CEC dean candidate April 27

Finalists for the vice provost and dean position in the College of Engineering and Computing have been invited for campus interviews. The campus community is invited to an open forum with Dr. Suvranu De 3-4 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Engineering Hall. The candidate will participate in a question-and-answer session with CEC faculty 4-4:45 p.  m., also in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Engineering Hall. De is the J Erik Jonsson ’22 Distinguished Professor of Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where he serves as head of the mechanical, aerospace and nuclear engineering department and director of the Center for Modeling, Simulation and Imaging in Medicine.
