Beware of email schemes fraudulently using the name and logo of the IRS or tax software companies. These emails are designed to deceive you into disclosing your W-2 information. The IRS reported an approximate 400 percent surge in phishing and malware incidents during the 2016 tax season. Don’t take the bait.
