A strength-training program offered by the University of Missouri Extension, “Stay Strong, Stay Healthy,” can get your fitness journey started or restarted right here on campus. The class is held noon-1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Friday, May 26, in the basement of Residential Commons 2.
Participants will be guided safely by a trained instructor through a warm-up, eight muscle-strengthening exercises and a cool down. Equipment is provided. The class targets older and sedentary middle-aged adults but there are no age limits.
