The University of Missouri System supports your wellbeing through its Culture of Health program. One of the five principles of the culture is eating well. In April, you can attend free workshops about healthy eating and enter a recipe contest.
Workshops will include:
- “Navigating through the Dine on Campus webpage to make healthy food choices at Missouri S&T,” presented by Chartwells, 12:30-1:30p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center
- “Carbohydrates,” presented by the University of Missouri Extension, noon-1 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center
- “Food Labels” presented by the University of Missouri Extension, 11 a.m-noon Friday, April 14, in the Missouri Room of the Havener Center
Details about Missouri S&T’s healthy recipe challenge and tasting event will be announced Monday, April 17.
