Applications for Student Leadership Conference Co- Chair are now open !

The Missouri S&T Student Leadership and Professional Development Conference is a half day event held annually within the first four weeks of the spring semester. It is planned by a collective group of students and staff led by two student co-chairs and LCP staff. The planning committee is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the conference.

Job Duties
• Co- facilitate conference planning meetings with Assistant Director of LCP.
• Design and delegate tasks and initiatives to conference planning committee members.
• Assist with the cultivation of campus partnerships to both promote and plan the conference.
• Attend and assist with the implementation of the leadership conference.
• Recruit planning committee members.
• Work collaboratively with committee members to market and recruit conference participants.
• Work collaboratively with co-chair and Assistant Director of LCP to plan a conference wrap-up meeting and develop a post-conference report.
• Serve 1-3 hours a week while planning the conference. This time commitment will increase in the 3-4 weeks prior to the conference.
Preferred Qualifications
• Desire to design and implement large scale events.
• Prior experience in a student organization or planning events
• Cumulative grade point average of 2.0

Compensation
• A $125 scholarship will be applied to each of the co-chairs’ student accounts at the end of the fall semester after the successful completion of their planning responsibilities.
• A $125 scholarship will be applied to each of the co-chairs’ student accounts after the successful implementation of the conference and post-conference report. s
