Employees, retirees and community members are invited to participate in “Stay Strong, Stay Healthy,” an eight-week strength training program beginning Monday, April 3. A trained instructor will guide participants through a warm-up, eight muscle-strengthening exercises and a cool down.
Offered by the University of Missouri Extension, the class is designed for older adults or sedentary middle-aged females who want to improve their strength, balance and flexibility. All equipment is provided. The class costs $50. Participants can earn 100 points for the University of Missouri System’s 2017 Wellness Incentive. Register on the UM Extension site.
