Join other instructors in discussing and seeing versatile active learning strategies that can be used for various class sizes and disciplines at “Developing Versatile Active Learning Strategies for Your Course.” The session will be held noon-1 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center.

Participants will also learn about Missouri S&T’s growing connection with KEEN, a network of university partners working to transform U.S. engineering education. Desserts, snacks and drinks will be provided. RSVP to Diane Hagni, program support specialist, by Monday, April 3.

The event is sponsored by VentureWell Grant principal investigators Dr. Bonnie Bachman, professor of economics; John Lovitt, entrepreneur-in-residence for computer science, and Dr. Maciej Zawodniok, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; and the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI).
