The campus community is invited to hear Miha Britt, attorney at Britt Immigration Law LLC, discuss the recent executive order related to immigration this month at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask her questions about current policies and their legal implications related to higher education and international student visas.

The event, titled “Building Bridges – Dialogue to Strengthen Community,” will be held 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Room B-10 Bertlesmeyer Hall. Britt’s talk will focus on her interpretation of executive order 13769 “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” The order was signed by President Donald Trump on Jan. 27, 2017, and places limits on travel to the United States from several countries.
