Learn about assessing teams in Feb. 24 workshop

Instructors are invited to the workshop “Team Alchemy: How to Assess Teams” with guest presenter Dr. Holly Stretz noon-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, in Room 208 Norwood Hall. Stretz is an associate professor of chemical engineering at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. She will discuss Team Alchemy, a professional organization for industry team assessment and development, and why Tennessee Tech chose this system for their academic and student teams.

This is a brown-bag lunch event; dessert and drinks will be provided. RSVP to Diane Hagni, program and project support specialist, by Wednesday, Feb. 22. The event is sponsored by VentureWell Grant principal investigators Dr. Bonnie Bachman, professor of economics; John Lovitt, entrepreneur-in-residence for computer science, and Dr. Maciej Zawodniok, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; and the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI).
