On Jan. 1, 2018, employees’ eligibility for the University of Missouri System’s retiree health insurance plans will change. Eligibility will differ based on whether you fall into category A, B, C or D. Some employees may make the choice to retire in 2017 before the changes are made.

What should you do? Now is the time to learn more about your personal situation and make an informed choice. Attend a seminar on your campus, schedule a one-on-one counseling session, and use online resources to make your decision.

Pre-retirement seminars will be held at Missouri S&T:

  • 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center
  • 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, March 7, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center
  • Telepresence seminars will be held 3-5 p.m. in Room 201A of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library on the following dates:
  • Tuesday, March 14
  • Tuesday, May 23
  • Wednesday, June 28
  • Wednesday, Sept. 20
  • Thursday, Dec. 7

Seminar dates, one-on-one scheduling instructions, online tools, and the history of the retiree health insurance changes are available at http://umurl.us/c2ri.
