Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate in a business and information technology (BIT) case competition sponsored by AT&T in March. Teams of four students will be given a case study from AT&T and one week to find the best solution. The first-place team will receive $1,000 plus a mentoring session with AT&T’s vice president. The second-place team will receive $500 and the third-place team will win $250. Teams can register online.
The case topic is related to issues of cyber security and business management but no hacking or coding skills will be required. At least one member on each team must be either a BIT student or a student of any other department in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business at Missouri S&T.
Participants will attend a kickoff meeting at noon Monday, March 6. Slides will be due from the teams by noon Thursday, March 9. Teams will deliver their presentations to a panel of judges Friday, March 10.
