University Police will host response training for law enforcement officers Wednesday, Jan. 11, on Missouri S&T’s campus. Participants will take classes in Bertelsmeyer Hall and undergo scenario training with replica weapons in Harris Hall. If you would like to participate as an actor during the scenario training, please contact Chief Doug Roberts at 341-4345.
The training is sponsored by the FBI field office in St. Louis. It will focus on the response of law enforcement in this community in the event of an active shooter incident on campus. In addition to police officers undergoing the training, staff members at the Rolla Fire Department and S&T’s student health services have been invited to observe.
