Damage to Emerson Hall, following a fire on the roof of the building on Thursday, Dec. 8, is currently being evaluated. We will provide a status update via email and on the S&T alert site, alert.mst.edu, this afternoon (Friday, Dec. 9) about plans for use of the building next week.

If you are an employee who works in Emerson Hall and you have questions about recording your time for payroll, please contact the human resources staff at 341-4241 or email at hrsinfo@mst.edu.

If you typically work in Emerson Hall and must retrieve items, please bring your ID card to the main entrance of the building on the north side, facing 16th Street. A Missouri S&T security officer and police officer are available to escort faculty and staff, with proper ID, who must retrieve items from the building.

Electrical and computer engineering students who need access to the building should contact their professor or department chair, who then should contact University Police to grant permission and access to the building.

If you are a student with classes scheduled in Emerson Hall, please visit the Missouri S&T registrar’s website, registrar.mst.edu/eechanges, for relocated class locations.
