The S&T campaign for the United Way began in late October and is ongoing. United Way of Phelps County raises money for emergency food and shelter, child abuse and neglect prevention, youth character development, senior citizen nutrition, community health care and many other services in the county. Organizations supported by United Way include CASA, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts, 4-H, Senior Companions, Nutrition Site and the Salvation Army.
