Promotion, tenure workshop for faculty set for Nov. 21

Faculty are invited to a workshop, “Walking Through Promotion and Tenure,” from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, in the Missouri and Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Lunch will be provided. It is open to all full-time tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty.
Topics will include, “Do’s and Don’ts on your CV,” “Scholarship and Graduate Activities,” “Service and Outreach,” “Teaching with Excellence,” and “A Department Chair’s Perspective.” The workshop will feature designated time to work on dossier documents and a question-and-answer segment.
The workshop is sponsored by the provost’s office and the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI). To reserve your spot, please contact Diane Hagni, program support specialist, by Tuesday, Nov. 15, and specify any dietary requirements. Participants can also attend selected segments of the workshop; for an agenda, contact Hagni.
