Astronaut presentation, film screening planned during Space Week

Celebrate Missouri S&T’s Space Week with the upcoming events:
- A film, “October Sky,” will be shown 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Missouri Ozark Room in the Havener Center.
- Sandra Magnus, a Missouri S&T graduate and former NASA astronaut, will speak about space-related topics 6-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. Magnus currently serves as executive director of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Space Week began Nov. 1 and will conclude Saturday, Nov. 5. The events are hosted by various clubs, groups and teams at Missouri S&T.
