Faculty are invited to two distinct open forums regarding the search process for a vice provost and dean of the College of Engineering and Computing.

Monday, Oct. 17

Carver-Turner Room in Havener Center
Topic: CEC vice provost and dean search: Expectations and desired qualities of vice provost and dean
Guest: Tim McIntosh, director of the Greater Missouri Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) and enterprise manager of executive initiatives for the University of Missouri System.
All faculty are welcome to attend this forum, but it may be of particular interest to CEC faculty.

Topic: Vice provost and dean search process: Legal requirements and national best practices related to the 10 steps discussed at the recent special Faculty Senate meeting.
Guests: Marsha Fischer, counsel for the University of Missouri System, and Michael Aldana, partner at Quarles & Brady, LLP; legal consultant to IBIS, a diversity and organizational development firm.
