The Student Success Center will host its “Sophomore Summit” 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. As the name implies, the event is designed for students who are sophomores at Missouri S&T.
Dr. Wayne Huebner, professor of materials science and engineering, will serve as the keynote speaker. Attendees will get tips for success and free food from Jimmy John’s. Sophomores can speak with other students, faculty and staff about leadership and involvement, struggles and success, co-op and internships, and experiential learning.
