Alumna, Woman Student of the Year ceremony set for Oct. 17

The campus community is invited to honor the recipients of the Alumna and Woman Student of the Year awards at a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center.
Sponsored by Missouri S&T women faculty, these awards honor alumnae and students who serve as role models by their achievements in their professional field, commitment to education, support for diversity, respect for differing viewpoints, and willingness to speak out on issues that affect the quality of women’s lives. Light refreshments will be served.
