Surplus property losing building; public auction Sept. 23

Surplus property will lose its building at the end of the month. The University of Missouri System has directed that all pickups be put on hold until after the building is cleared out. To aid in the removal of items, there will be a public auction starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the surplus building located at 301 N. Bishop Ave. in Rolla. If you plan to attend, please bring a photo ID and plan to arrive early to sign up for a bidder’s number.
No new location for surplus property has been found at this time. UM System’s surplus department will take over pickups beginning Saturday, Oct. 1, and continue until a new location for surplus property is found.
