Opening Week was a positive experience for new students thanks to the cooperative efforts of the many faculty, staff and students who participated. It takes a campus community to carry out these events for new students and it could not be done without your help. Developing early relationships with students, staff and faculty is instrumental in helping students make a successful transition to college life. Opening Week also establishes realistic academic expectations for our new students and provides programs that promote academic success. New Student Programs would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in Opening Week.
