Student life expects a large group to attend the annual MinerRama involvement fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 26) at the Puck. Over 200 booths have been reserved by student organizations, university departments and area businesses. Through MinerRama, students are offered an exciting way to access information and explore ways to connect with the campus.
The involvement fair includes music, giveaways and several entertaining activities featured by student groups. Student life hopes the noise level will not be too disruptive for offices and classrooms during this event. They also invite the campus community to come out and help welcome students back to campus.
Research suggests that students who are engaged in campus life feel more connected to the university, are more likely to be academically successful and often persist at a higher rate. Student life thanks you in advance for supporting its efforts to ensure student success. For more information about the MinerRama involvement fair, contact Tina Reagan.
