Dr. Yaojun Ge, chair and professor of bridge engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai, China, will present a guest lecture at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, July 12) in Room 312 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Ge’s lecture, titled “Challenges and Frontier of Structural Wind Engineering,” examines the challenges in mitigating wind effects on large-scale civil engineering structures as urbanization becomes a trend of the economic development in modern societies.
