Effective Sunday, July 3, University Police will staff the police department facility, located in Room G-10 Campus Support Facility, on a 24-hour basis. The doors to the campus police department will not lock.  Parking lot operations’ operating hours will remain 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The various uniforms for University Police are as follows:

• Blue shirt, dark pants, with a badge and equipment belt – armed and commissioned Missouri S&T police officers
• Brown shirt and tan pants (unless the temperatures are high, then tan shorts) – unarmed S&T security officers
• Red shirt and khaki shorts, khaki pants or jeans – unarmed S&T student security officers
• Grey polo shorts and black pants – S&T university parking officers

The main non-emergency telephone number to University Police is 341-4300. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. University Police dispatch out of the Rolla Police Central Dispatch. If you have an emergency and call the campus police main line, you will be referred to dial 911. Calling 911 helps enable law enforcement to identify the location of the call in the event the call is disconnected. Additionally, the University Police website has recently been updated.
