Death of Dr. Wilbur Paul Tappmeyer, visitation today

Dr. Wilbur Paul Tappmeyer, professor emeritus of chemistry at Missouri S&T, died on Monday, May 16. Visitation will be held at noon today (Thursday, May 19) at Rolla First Baptist Church, located at 801 N. Cedar St. A celebration of Dr. Tappmeyer’s life will follow the visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Manor or Phelps County Hospice in care of Null and Son Funeral Home.

Dr. Tappmeyer earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Missouri S&T in 1947.
