EMSE guest lecture focuses on optimization

Dr. Jiaqiao Hu, associate professor of applied mathematics at Stony Brook University (SUNY), will present a guest lecture titled “Model-Based Stochastic Adaptive Search Algorithms for Global Optimization,” 2-3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Room 213 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The seminar is open to all students, faculty and staff, and is a part of engineering management and systems engineering’s Sarchet Seminar Series.
