Better Campus Competition winners announced

Since the beginning of the 2016 fall semester, teams competing in the Better Campus Competition have been working to create and prototype the next great campus innovation. On Monday, April 18, all of the teams were judged. Only six teams made it to the final round, including Food Finder, Spot U, R.A.C.K.S., Pony Express, Floor 9 and BookBase. After the judges made their rounds and spoke to teams, Food Finder won, with a mobile app that would inform students when different dining options on campus are open. Second prize went to Spot U, creators of a web application to help students find better study locations. Third place went to R.A.C.K.S., which designed smarter bike rack.
