Flags at half-staff effective immediately

By order of U.S. President Barack Obama, all flags at all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the federal government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its territories and possessions will be flown at half-staff effective immediately in honor of former first lady Nancy Reagan, who died Sunday, March 6. The order shall remain in effect until sunset on the date of her interment, which will be announced at a future time.
