Engineering management and systems engineering presents a guest lecture from Dr. Barry Nelson, the Walter P. Murphy Professor of industrial engineering and management sciences at Northwestern University, which will be held 2-3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Room 213 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. His lecture is titled “Discrete Optimization via Simulation Using Gaussian Markov Random Fields.” This seminar is open to all students, faculty and staff who are interested.
