Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

Girls in fourth through eighth grade and their parents or guardians are invited to Missouri S&T to learn about the fun of engineering. Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 5, in the Havener Center. IGED gives students a chance to explore engineering through hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations hosted by volunteers, student organizations, corporate partners and community organizations. This event is sponsored by Halliburton, Society of Women Engineers and the department of student diversity, outreach and women’s programs. The event is free but registration is required.
