Caught in the Act is now underway. Twenty-two employees have been nominated from Missouri S&T for practicing Random Acts of Wellness. The winner from Week 2 is Sujeong Kim, who was nominated by Melissa Hill. Sujeong will receive a yoga ball, which can be used as a piece of ergonomic equipment.

Many employees out there are practicing random acts of wellness, so let Healthy for Life know who they are.

In January and February, if you’re caught practicing random acts of wellness in the workplace, a campus Wellness Ambassador may nominate you to be recognized by Healthy for Life and to be entered in a prize drawing.

Examples of random acts of wellness include things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, hosting a healthy potluck, walking on your breaks and sharing a healthy recipe with a coworker. For more ideas visit the UM System’s Culture of Health: Easy action steps website.
