Information security reminds the campus to practice caution when receiving emails related to your W-2 form. The IRS only emails confirmation on e-files; it uses the U.S. Postal Service to deliver forms. For more information, visit https://www.irs.gov/uac/Suspicious-e-Mails-and-Identity-Theft.
