Dr. Roman Dwilewicz, a professor of mathematics and statistics, recently had two papers accepted in two mathematics journals.
“Hartogs-type extension for tube-like domains in C^2,” was published in Mathematische Annalen.
“Hartogs-type extension for unbounded sets in C^2 via construction of Riemann domains,” was published in Annali della Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, Classe di Scienze.
Both articles were co-written with researchers A. Boggess and Z. Slodkowski.
Mathematische Annalen, founded in 1868, and Annali della Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, founded in 1871, are two of the oldest top-quality journals in mathematics, according to Dr. Stephen Clark, chair and professor of mathematics and statistics.
